Radiation Source
A 60-ft source of radiation that we cannot turn off, unlike our phones and routers if we chose to do so. Radiation is STILL radiation regardless of the amount and limits set. We do not want a source of radiation so close to our homes.
No Environmental Assessment (EA) completed for to measure impact even after public comments made about Cooper's hawks (migratory bird) nesting in the trees year after year in the church's parking lot and Beach Villas Community.
Lowering Property Values due to Aesthetic Visual Blight, 60ft. fake anything with a modification allowance to 80ft. greatly alters the skyscape for a Beach town.
Cell Tower Industry - misleads local governments by telling them "they have no control of over placement" of Cell Towers or other Wireless Technology. This is inaccurate the only power local governments have is the Siting of Cell Towers, in conjunction with their ordinances.
No Assessments completed for mitigation of hazards from fire, fall, wind, noise pollution, lightening strikes, flammable materials storage less than 50 ft. from Homes.

A joint three Huntington Beach Neighborhood Opposition to build a Cell Tower, near Slater Ave. and Marken Ln. The Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 23-006 was Conditionally Approved by the Zoning Administrator, Appealed, and we were Granted a NEW Public Hearing with the HB Planning Commission on June 13th @ 6pm. Join Us, in Raising Our Voices, Against Building this CELL TOWER in the Middle of Three Neighborhoods, by Submitting Public Comments to the HB Planning Commission. Also, Write the the City Council, with the Take Action buttons above. Cell Towers, Stealth Site or Disguised, the Long-Term Impacts are Unknown for Untested Technology.
